Orion Nation realized that its residents and citizens need to have a gratitude/recognition system in place allowing them to recognize and appreciate special efforts. A citizen who showed extra effort, or did something extraordinary needs to be somehow honored, otherwise frustration and demotivation takes place.
As the Orion Nation provides the same amenities with the same quality to everyone it cannot provide anything special in this regard (aka a better living quarter). Money is also not an instrument to appreciate this effort, as everyone is getting the same amount of money.
So we decided to make a quarterly and yearly celebration of all the citizens and residents who achieved something extraordinary. The residents and citizens will be honored by everyone within their community and workplace ( place of stay ). The resident or citizen will keep and show the title for the remaining three months and receive the respect of all other Orion Nation members. Once in the year ( at the end of the year ) we celebrate achievements that are so extraordinary that they need to be held by the citizen for the coming next year. We combine this with our general festivities at the end of the year.
The quarterly celebration also serves the purpose of an official get-together of the community. Giving the community a chance to come together and enjoy their time. So it is not just about celebrating individual achievements, it is also about using this event as a way to bond the community.
In essence, we show gratitude directly and honor extraordinary achievements either quarterly or until the end of the citizens’ careers.
